Self Catering homestay, single room

A Self Catering homestay allows you to use the kitchen to store and prepare food. You can use all the available facilities, crockery, utensils and cutlery.

Your single bedroom is for your use only, with common areas including the bathrooms shared.

Single room, self catering homestay is £160 per week + a one time £75 arrangement fee.

Benefits of a self catering homestay

The advantages of staying with a host family or homestay are huge! You will have contact with native speakers in a home environment where you can practice your new English skills. Mealtimes are especially valuable moments to sit and talk, getting valuable language practise with native speakers. You will also enjoy the comfort and security of a local, family home.

Homestay accommodation is also good value compared to alternative accommodation options for international students. This British Council report estimates the cost of living in the UK at up to £1300 per month.

Summer Homestay bookings attract a surcharge of +£30 per week during the months of June, July and August. Please note this may be charged by invoice after dates have been calculated.
