Brexit and Travel to the UK for Eurpoeans
You will need to show a valid passport or national identity card if you’re a citizen of an EU country, the same as current travel rules.
What you need to show at the UK border will not change immediately if the UK leaves the EU with or without a deal on 31 October 2019.
Travel to Brighton
The city of Brighton is 60 miles (90km) south of London and easily accessible for international travellers. Getting from your international arrival point to Brighton is a journey that can be made privately or with ISE's Pick-Up service. Brighton is only 30 minutes drive from Gatwick Airport (LGW) so we recommend flying into Gatwich where possible. The next closest airport is London Heathrow (LHR) which is about 90 minutes by car/taxi.
Travel around the city of Brighton
Brighton is served by 2 bus companies, with tickets costing about £2.50 for a single journey, £27 for a 1 week ticket (with student discount) and £132 for 3 months.

Travel by ferry (boat)
Brighton is close to Newhaven ferry port (10 miles) and the port of Dover (about 100 miles by road).
Newhaven is operated by DFDS Seaways, with ferries crossing from Dieppe in France twice per day.
Dover Ferry Port is used by various ferry operators. Check the website for routes and tickets.
