General English
General English classes are designed for students of all levels who wish to study English intensively and make recognised progress in speaking, reading, writing, listening and grammar. A test is taken on arrival and progress is monitored throughout the course.
ISE Brighton organises General English classes all year at these levels:
1. Beginners
2. Elementary
3. Pre-Intermediate
4. Intermediate
5. Upper Intermediate
6. Advanced
ISE Brighton offers a flexible timetable with classes running in the mornings and afternoons. Sometimes evening classes re available too. We always try to create the best timetable to fit in with your time in Brighton.

To make guaranteed improvement in English, we ask you to follow the ISE Brighton's Rules of Study:
- Attend all your classes
- Complete all your homework
- Arrive in class on time
- Participate in all classroom activities
- Speak only English in class
To progress from one level to the next, on average the following classroom study hours are required:
